About Brittany

Brittany is a video journalist and producer who has spent the last decade working in the dynamic worlds of broadcast television, digital media and podcast production. 

​

From 2014 to 2020, Brittany hosted and reported across several editorial platforms at Yahoo. She was an editor and writer at Yahoo Travel before spending two years as a personal finance reporter at Yahoo Finance. As a reporter for Yahoo Lifestyle, Brittany hosted Unmuted, a video series that profiled leaders igniting social change in their communities. From 2018- 2020 Brittany was a host at BUILD Series, a long-form interview show featuring actors, activists, athletes and authors.

As a producer, Brittany has scripted and edited live and taped segments on the Katie Couric Talk Show and The Daily Beast Live. In 2021, she began work as a Supervising Producer with Treefort Media, an L.A. based podcast company where Brittany oversaw the production of the Audible audio series, Ali in Me, which examined the life and activism of Muhammad Ali. On Microsoft's Changemakers, Brittany worked with hosts will.i.am and Omar Abbosh as they interviewed global business leaders using technology and innovation to improve their industries. Both podcasts required Brittany to direct audio recordings, edit interviews, write scripts, manage talent, and maintain the production schedule.

Between 2021 to 2024, Brittany moderated panels at SXSW, The Paley Center for Media, Advertising Week, The Obama Democracy Forum, Tribeca Film Festival, Comic Con, SheMedia, and The Female Quotient. Panels included conversations on the need for more diversity on production sets, the connection between girls in sports and women CEO's, the cultural impact of Black female film directors, the state of Democracy in Africa, and the importance of investing in women-led businesses. In 2024, Brittany was a CNBC contributor hosting personal finance segments on saving, budgeting and tax preparation live on NBC's TODAY.

​In 2025, Brittany completed the Knight-Bagehot Fellowship at Columbia Journalism School. Over the course of 10 months, Brittany completed the core curriculum of the MBA program at Columbia Business School, refining her ability to deliver enterprise stories that are both human-centered and data-driven. While at Columbia, Brittany also completed a book proposal under the mentorship of Professor Samuel G. Freedman and his narrative non-fiction book writing seminar at Columbia Journalism School.
